Family law is more than a job to me, it is a passion. I knew that I wanted to be an advocate for others during difficult times, and that is when I fell in love with family law. I work with each of my clients personally to develop a plan to achieve their individual goals. I focus on long-term success, rather than instant gratification.
I was born in San Diego, CA but was raised in Las Vegas, NV. In 2015, I graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. After graduation, I came to San Diego and graduated in May of 2018 from California Western School of Law with an area of concentration in Child, Family, and Elder Law. I was barred in California in December 2018 and in Nevada in May 2019, after passing both bar exams on the first attempt. I have exclusively practiced family law and became a Certified Family Law Specialist.
I decided to leave a large firm and start Edwards Family Law, A.P.C. because I wanted to be in control of my name and reputation. I aim to provide the same aggressive and compassionate representation, but with a more personal touch. I work closely with my clients to strategize and plan for long term success, both in and out of the courtroom.
I will be there to support and advocate for you from start to finish. I am aware that all aspects of family law can be extremely stressful, including divorce, custody and visitation, domestic violence, financial support, etc. It is my goal to alleviate some of that stress, so that you can focus on your daily life.
In my free time, I love exploring San Diego and spending time on the beach with a cup of coffee and a good book.
